May 25th 2016 – A wish come true
This was one of the most beautiful moments of my life. I was sitting on my bed in the beach house hostel In Kauaii. The smell of the ocean caressing my nose as I listened to the crash of the waves in front of me. My first ever solo trip to a different part of the world. The earth’s beautiful Belly button: Hawaii. My heart was bursting full of love and gratitude for finally taking a step towards my dreams of travelling.
Last night I looked up at the sky and saw the first star of the night. It reminded me of when I was a little girl, standing on my bed, looking out the window saying: “Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight.” I was so full of hopes and dreams, and given enough time: My wish came true.
As I sat there looking at that star last night, I realized something: for the first time in my life, I had nothing to wish for. For the first time in my life, I felt like I needed nothing. I have everything in abundance. Everything I could ever possibly want or need. I have love in abundance from all my friends and family. I have so much love to give. I have a beautiful home. A job that I love. I have healthy food. I have a healthy body. I can go on adventures whenever I want. I can make the most amazing things happen! Create the most amazing memories!
I have my journals to keep my motivated to do more incredible things, and I can read about all those things whenever I want! I have big dreams and aspirations, and I have the motivation, the drive, and the ambitions to make them all come true! I can finally say whole-heartedly, and honestly:
I LOVE MY LIFE!
And even more than that, I can actually say; I love myself!
I love the life that I have created. And I can’t wait to see what my future holds. The possibilities are endless! I am the writer of my own book. I can write the most epic and exciting book ever written, if I put my mind to it. The experiences I have had in the last month have been incredible, eye opening, unparalleled, and completely necessary.
I’ve learned so much in such a short amount of time. I feel like I could conquer the world, and through my adventures, I hope to do exactly that: conquer my own world. I want to see and experience everything! I want to see the stars from everywhere in the world. I want to thank every sprakling star for all the wished that have come true in my life.
Life is Beautiful!
